OPPD offers three great retirement savings opportunities. In addition to a defined
benefit retirement plan, as an OPPD employee, you can supplement your retirement
savings by contributing to either or both a 401(k) Plan and 457 Plan on a tax-deferred
basis. OPPD provides matching contributions to help you grow your funds. You
can start saving after a 30-day notice. A full range of investments is available
to help you meet your retirement goals. If you are not comfortable choosing
which funds in which to invest, assistance is available.
OPPD Supports Your Educational Efforts 100 Percent
OPPD encourages and supports your professional development through academic and vocational training. OPPD will pay 100 percent of approved tuition and fees
to help employees with more than six months of service further their education
in fields of interest to the utility.
